SOCK DRAGONS!
Hey Tweens :)
Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary (ask your parents, they'll know who that is...) is releasing his new book Puff the Magic Dragon and will be at our library later this month to sign books, play guitar and sing songs with us!
So, next Tuesday we're going to start making some SOCK DRAGONS! The first ten kids to arrive at the book event will each win one of the sock dragons we're making. So let's get creative! I'm bringing socks, some googly eyes, and some colorful fabric. If you have other embellishments -- rhinestones, fabric, brightly-colored yarn, or just about anything else we can play around with -- please bring them. This is your chance to shine and show off all that artistic talent I've seen in you, as well as play around with a whole new set of materials. Get funky and let's have some dragon FUN!
